Azul Wasi is a small orphanage located about forty minutes from Cusco, Peru on the outskirts of a small village called Oropesa. Housed here are approximately 20 children, most of them young boys. These kids are products of abusive or destructive households coercing them to live on the urban streets of Peru. The home is approximately nine years old. It was founded by Alcides Jordan after he witnessed countless children residing in absolute squalor on the streets during his several years in the police force.
