Nile Rodgers ha desvelado que está en conversaciones con el dúo francés de música electrónica, a quiénes recibirá el próximo lunes en su apartamento de Nueva York para hablar de la producción de su cuarto álbum de estudio. Panda Bear, frontman de Animal Collective confirmó que había contactado con Daft Punk para tantearlos sobre la posibilidad de un remix y los franceses le ofrecieron participar en su nuevo proyecto. Chilly Gonzales o Paul Williams también han confirmado contacto con los franceses para colaborar en su nuevo proyecto.
