El jueves os contábamos como se montaba un buen escándalo debido a la aparición del primer virus a gran escala en Android, el cual infectaba más de 50 aplicaciones del Android Market. Como consecuencia Google acaba de anunciar una actualización de seguridad en su Android Market. También anuncian que los dispositivos afectados recibirán un correo de la propia Google en las próximas 72 horas avisando de la aplicación del parche mencionado, y la notificación de que la actualización de seguridad ha sido instalada.

Estan intentando arreglar el desaguisado remotamente.
No saben muy bien que datos se estan obteniendo con el virus:
"For affected devices, we believe that the only information the attacker(s) were able to gather was device-specific (IMEI/IMSI, unique codes which are used to identify mobile devices, and the version of Android running on your device). But given the nature of the exploits, the attacker(s) could access other data, which is why we’ve taken a number of steps to protect those who downloaded a malicious application"
