La falta de datos consistentes y el número unidades apagadas (el término técnico era rotas) en el momento en que se mostraba más necesaria RadNet muestra que la EPA no estaba preparada para esta emergencia. Lo segundo se observa con el ejemplo de la línea de datos incompletos e inexactos en las medidas de la Universidad de Berkeley, cosa que no pasaba hasta el accidente de Fukushima. Y lo primero observando que las medidas anteriores al accidente son bastante más elevadas que las posteriores, cosa que contradice al hecho de la lluvia radiactiva
